Rather than study your old medical records we see you personally and examine your medical conditions firsthand.
An in-person evaluation ensures we have the most recent information regarding your eye health and vision to ensure the best results.
Our state of the art ophthalmological instruments provide us with the data needed to accurately exam your medical conditions and individually customize our therapy in your case.
Our visual assessment provides key insights regarding your true functional vision rather than just normal eye exam measurements. This allows us to better predict the probability of you responding positively to our treatment.
Our novel and successful clinical approach has been used since 1995 to restore vision loss in patients like you.
If you qualify, you should expect notable benefits. However, if we see little or no possibility for improvement, therapy is not initiated and you save your money.
You will be able to meet our team in person, determine if you feel comfortable, and decide if our vision-restoring therapy is a good option for you.

Upon completion of the evaluation you will have a comprehensive consultation with the head of the clinic, Dr. Anton Fedorov, to discuss the results and determine if you meet the qualifications for treatment. This discussion will include expected treatment benefits and the probability of positively responding to Fedorov Restoration Therapy.
Our vision restoration clinic in Berlin (Germany) was founded to fill the gap between ophthalmology and neurology to help improve functional eyesight in visually impaired patients due to optic nerve damage or retinal dystrophies. Our therapy was established between 1995-1999 based on brain stimulation research dating back to 1980-1988 in Russia. Although this treatment is relatively new outside of Europe, we have successfully helped many patients improve their eyesight and regain their independence since 1995. We have treated more than 10,000 patients with Fedorov Restoration Therapy with over 70% of them have reported a higher quality of life.
Our doctors discovered that functional vision can be improved without regeneration of the optic nerve or retinal cells. This non-invasive and safe cutting-edge low current electrical stimulation does not replace damaged retinal cells or their axons, but increases cellular activity of preserved neurons and improves conductivity along the optic nerves, resulting in increased signaling to the visual cortex. Improved functional vision is the result of both reactivated retinal cells and stimulated brain plasticity.
Conducted in Germany between 2007-2012 several double blind, placebo controlled, and randomized clinical trials have established the efficacy of Fedorov Restoration Therapy scientifically and clinically validating this treatment modality. Routine clinical use in both Russia (1991 - present) and Germany (2007 - present) has demonstrated safety of this electrical stimulation without side effects or worsening vision.
Our treatment is recommended for patients suffering from any optic nerve atrophy but especially damage originating as glaucomatous, ischemic, traumatic, inflammatory, post tumor, or hydrocephalus induced optic neuropathies. Our treatment has also proven successful in cases of underdeveloped optic nerves (hypoplasia). Patients with certain types of retinal diseases including inherited dystrophies like retinitis pigmentosa and cone dystrophies have measurable benefits from this treatment as well.
We do not claim that everyone may benefit from our treatment. Qualification for Fedorov Restoration Therapy is granted if we expect a reasonable probability that the patient will positively respond to the treatment and experience subsequent functional visual benefits. In case of very severe or nearly complete optic nerve or retina atrophy patients are not eligible in any case. Additionally, we evaluate all potential contraindications to ensure our therapy is safe. If you are unsure if your patient is a good candidate, feel free to reach out to us and we would be glad to answer your questions.
My friend's 19 year old daughter, just had a 2-week treatment at the Restore Vision Clinic in Berlin this June with results that were encouraging. She has retinitis pigmentosa and only 11 percent vision which means her night vision outdoors included only bright lights and nothing else, no peripheral vision and she could not see colours. At the completion of the 2-week treatment her peripheral vision returned at a distance of about 1 meter and she could see facial expressions. The whole team of the clinic was very professional and friendly. We are all grateful with an encouraging result in her vision thus making this a wonderful experience. We wholeheartedly thank you all for the wonderful work that you did for here.
